2 Minutes in Prague

I've visited Prague a couple of times in the last few months to attend client meetings. I'm usually holed up in a conference room with very little time to explore the city. Thankfully on our most recent trip in mid-October, my team and I decided to stay the weekend and make the most of our time in Prague. This also gave us plenty of time to recover from a heavy night of "Czech-style" partying with our clients.

In lieu of the usual photo essays, I thought I'd mix things up a bit. I created a short, somewhat haphazard video showcasing the highlights (and lowlights) from our trip to Prague. This is the first in a new series of "2 Minutes In..." videos. Enjoy!

What's in the video?

  • Schnitzels and beer at Lokál Dlouhááá. If you don't order a pint, your server will probably ridicule you.

  • Charles Bridget at night. Walk across the bridge at night to avoid the tourist crowd.

  • Late night at Dejavu Music Club. Be prepared for an all nighter. The Czech know how to party.

  • Petrin Hill & Tower. What better way to beat a hangover than an arduous uphill hike?

  • Prague Old Town Hall Tower & Astronomical Clock. Underwhelming clock and unavoidable crowds. Thankfully, the views from the top make it all worthwhile.

  • Trdelník. Delicious Slovak pastry. Even better with chocolate.

  • Coffee and brunch at Kavárna Místo. We came for the coffee but stayed for the french toast and pancakes.

  • Prague Castle. Great royal complex perched atop a hill overlooking Prague.

  • Tram No. 91. Take a historic ride through Prague on an old school tram.
