Thanks to various work trips, 30th birthdays and some timely nuptials, the next few months will be pretty travel-intensive. Luckily, that should (hopefully) mean more interesting content for readers as well!
I've been posting about London ad nauseam, so over the next few months, I will be documenting my various travels (with the help of some good friends) and sharing my experiences abroad. That's not to say there won't be a few London posts thrown in for good measure. While I get ready for the trips ahead, I'd love to get everyone's thoughts on things to do and places to hit up at each destination. In typical frenetic "Frequent Wanderer" style, I will only be in every city for a few days max. I would like to think that this is more so a result of my limited holidays rather than my personal style. Regardless, here's to making the most of each trip!
Having just returned from a long weekend in South Florida, the only things on my mind right now are sun, sand and water. Therefore, to kick things off, this week will be dedicated to the beach - whether it's on an isolated island in the Caribbean or a pebbled shore in England. Some might say I'm a bit late to the game as there is really only a month left in the summer (queue sad trombone). However, it's never too soon to begin planning for your winter getaway and trade in Fire Island for Turks & Caicos. Better yet, you can even brave Hurricane Season and schedule a trip in the fall to catch some great off-peak deals.
Whenever and wherever your trip might be, here are a few tunes to get you in the mood. This should be a welcome change from my typically mellow (and borderline depressing) music choices. Keep in mind that these include some "guilty pleasures" and a few too many remixes. No judging. You can click on the drop-down playlist menu in the left hand corner to find out more about each song. I've also added a UK playlist. What better way to celebrate my new residence than with a special playlist of British artists?
