If you are in London anytime between now and November 11th, make sure to check out Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red. The beautiful installation at the Tower of London is comprised of thousands of ceramic poppies and marks 100 years since Britain's involvement in World War I. Each flower is in honor of a British fatality in the war. Over the course of the next few months, more and more flowers will be placed, making the installation a constantly evolving work of art. I can't wait to see what it looks like in November!
You do not need to pay admission and enter the tower to see the installation. Click here to learn more, donate and even buy your own poppy!
