3 months ago, I clicked the "publish" button for the very first time and posted entry #1 for Frequent Wanderer. At that time, I really had no idea what would come of this little site. What would I write about? Would anyone even read it? 30 posts later, I'm happy to see this thing is still alive and kicking.
In a relatively short period of time, the site has accumulated over 1500 hits from nearly 700 unique visitors. On Friday, we exceeded 100 daily visits for the very first time! Shout out to guest contributor, Michael, for his great take on NYC. These numbers probably seem so insignificant and minuscule to most of you. For me, it's a thrill. I love checking Google Analytics and seeing weekly site traffic gradually creep up.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this journey. It's awesome creating something so personal yet also something I can share with all of you - friends, family and strangers alike. I hope everyone will keep on reading, because the creative juices have been flowing of late. Over the coming months, you'll see a lot of fresh content, updated site design and even new branding. I also welcome feedback, new ideas and guest contributions from all of you. Just send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay tuned for more, and while you're waiting, check out this week's playlist!
