The cold, rainy days in London already have me longing for the summer months. While I'm excited to experience Christmas in Europe, I can't help but reminisce on an awesome and eventful summer. Ironically, much of my time was spent back in the states attending weddings in Pennsylvania, New York and Hawaii. Looking back, it's cool to see how each wedding was so unique and truly embodied the personalities of the respective newlyweds. I thought I would share some thoughts and photos from each wedding. Megan & Joey
High school sweethearts now living in Philadelphia. Megan just joined the workforce and Joey is a senior at Temple University. Perhaps the "cutest" couple you will ever meet.
Outside ceremony on the porch followed with cocktails and reception inside the resort. Everything, from the name cards to the sugar cookies were made by hand and made with love.
Mimi & Nate
Met in Brooklyn (Union Pool to be exact) and as "hip" as they get. Traveled the world for months before finally returning home. Our favorite "Settlers of Catan" playmates.
Forest Lake Camp in the Adirondacks. Wedding guests stayed on site in cabins and were welcome to partake in outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, tennis, volleyball and skeet shooting. You couldn't help but feel like you were reliving your childhood years.
Festive and intimate. 100 or so close family and friends. Games & activities for everyone during the daytime. A beautiful and simple outdoor ceremony followed by a delicious feast (including smores over the fire) and music and dancing late into the night.
Jen & Jonas
Jonas and Jen dated for 10 years before getting married. It felt like they were engaged for 20 of those 10 years. Needless to say, this has been a long time coming. I consider both of them family and am so happy to have been there to celebrate their marriage. Now the pressure is on to have some kids :)
The rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were held at private properties throughout the north shore of Kauai. You can't ask for a more jaw-dropping location than the lush green mountains and beaches of Kauai.
Fun and personal. This wedding was all about making sure the guests had an amazing and memorable time. From the food truck to the personalized Keep Cups, all the details were so well thought out and reflected Jen and Jonas's caring nature and relationship to a tee.
